Farplas acknowledges that Information Security plays a supportive role in achieving our vision, and in this regard:

• Protection of electronic and non-electronic information of automotive spare parts products,regarding import, export, transit, customs and foreign trade (including customs procedures and logistics), storage and financial activities;
• Information security management system for the protection of information assets arising from all Farplas processes, including the design, production and assembly of plastic parts and lighting products for motor, electric and hybrid vehicles; customs and foreign trade transactions carried out within this context, including
  logistics, storage, accounting, finance and information processing activities related to these transactions.
• It accepts and undertakes the information security management system within the following scope of Production, Project and Engineering Studies, Purchasing, Sales and Marketing, Information Technologies, Human Resources, Financial Affairs, R&D Activities and all of security proeventions regarding physical and electronic information assets of all these activities, Farplas perceives Information Security as the preservation of the fundamental characteristics of information assets listed below.

Farplas detects the Information Security; as the protection of the following basic features of information  assets; 

✓ Confidentiality: Information being accessible only to authorized employees.
✓ Integrity: Protection of information from unauthorized alterations and detection of alterations when they occur,
✓ Availability: Information being available to authorized users when needed.

For this purpose:

• Ensuring the security of information assets shared with us by both our Company and stakeholders within the
  scope of our business processes,
• Increasing the awareness and consciousness levels of community employees regarding information security,
• Ensuring the continuity of all main and supporting business activities with minimal interruption,
• Compliance with legal practices and contracts, in addition to the Information Security Management System Standard of the Community and the terms arising from/that may arise,
• Supporting continuous improvement and development regarding the Information Security Management System, increasing awareness among all employees and stakeholders about all innovations, changes, and developments within this system,
• Managing our information assets and measuring process performances in line with the principles of “Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability, and Sustainability”,
• Minimizing interruptions caused by information security in all our business processes and activities within the scope,
• Reporting all real or potential breaches, identifying non- compliances causing breaches, and taking preventive measures to prevent their recurrence,
• Providing necessary and qualified training to all relevant process owners and employees to ensure information security awareness and increase,
• Periodically reviewing the specified objectives and goals within this scope, creating the necessary resources to achieve these objectives and goals,
• Carrying out our ISMS activities in accordance with all legal requirements, existing standards, and agreements made with third parties (business partners, customers, suppliers).
