Farplas Signs the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles
We are pleased to announce that Farplas has officially joined the United Nation’s Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), thus advancing our conduct and initiatives in promoting gender equality.
By endorsing the UN WEPs, we join over 5000 businesses from around the globe in taking decisive action to advance women’s empowerment further. As an automotive company where 50% of our employees are women, Farplas recognizes the value of women professionals in ensuring sustainable growth.
“The role of women employees has always been a driving force in achieving Farplas’ future goals, growth and success. We have been an advocate for gender equality and women’s full participation and leadership for years. We have been the main sponsor of Arya Women Investment Platform (WIP) since 2013, a collaborative intelligence platform that empowers female leadership and supports female entrepreneurs,” says Mr. Haluk Akcali, Farplas’ CEO.

- Education and training
- Enterprise development, supply chain, and marketing practices
